AVAN ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal data is handled when you use the AVAN Mindset & Affirmation application.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

On-Device Preferences & Survey Selections: When you complete the onboarding survey, your goal, archetype, and mindset preferences are converted into an on-device personalization vector. This data remains on your local device.
Voice Recordings & Microphone Permission: When you use My Voice Studio or Say After Me, AVAN requests microphone access to record your voice or evaluate pronunciation match. All voice recordings and speech recognition are processed entirely on your local device. We do NOT upload, stream, or sell your voice recordings to third parties.
Journal Entries & Mood History: All mindful notes, reflections, and streak statistics are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.

2. In-App Purchases & Billing

Subscriptions and purchases are processed directly and securely through the official Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit APIs. AVAN does not receive, store, or process your credit card numbers or financial credentials.

3. Data Security & Storage

Your mental wellness data is personal. We employ local sandboxed storage mechanisms to ensure your reflections and customized vision boards remain private to your device.

4. Children’s Privacy

AVAN does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date.
